Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Department conducted a post HSC Diploma in Electronics and Radio Engineering since 1958.
The Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication course was started in the year 1999.

  • The department has highly dedicated and qualified faculty.
  • The department has following well equipped laboratories:
    Electronics Circuit Analysis & Design, Basic & Applied Electronics, Electronics Workshop & Maintenance, Mechatronics, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Embedded Systems, Communications, Advanced Communication, VLSI, Power Electronics and Industrial Drives.

Vision : To be a leading department that excels in academics to meet the needs of industry and society.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES OF E&TC DEPARTMENT : 

  • To apply the acquired knowledge of basic sciences and mathematics in solving electronics and telecommunication engineering problems.
  • To build strong academic foundation and develop effective communication skills to meet industrial and social needs.
  • To inculcate team spirit, professional ethics and environmental awareness to prepare students for lifelong learning and entrepreneurship.

 

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES :

  • Demonstrate basic analog and digital electronic circuits using modern electronic tools.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor specified electronic system.
